Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of TLG platform, the Garage Hub application and the licensing services provided by The License Guys SA, 4 Robben Road, Morganridge, Boksburg, 1459, South Africa. By creating an account or requesting a service you accept them.

You must give accurate information when you register, and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Business, dealership and staff accounts are provisioned by us. No account may grant itself a higher level of access than it was issued with.

We may suspend an account that is used unlawfully, that attempts to access another organisation's data, or that puts the platform at risk.

We act as your agent in lodging licensing applications. We do not issue licences, roadworthy certificates or registrations; those decisions are made by the relevant authority.

Turnaround times are estimates. Authority backlogs, system downtime, incorrect or outstanding documents and unpaid traffic fines can delay a job, and we will keep you updated on the platform when they do.

You are responsible for the accuracy and validity of the documents and information you give us.

Service fees are quoted before work begins and are separate from statutory fees payable to the authority. Statutory fees are recovered from you at cost.

Subscriptions for Garage Hub, company, dealership and fleet accounts are billed in advance. If a subscription or trial lapses the workspace becomes read only: you can still view, download and print your records, but you cannot create new work until it is renewed.

Fees already paid for work already lodged are not refundable where the authority has received the application.

You keep ownership of the documents you upload. You give us permission to use them only to deliver the services you request.

Documents are versioned rather than deleted. You may archive a document at any time; permanent deletion is performed on request.

Our staff may only access your documents where you have shared them, approved an access request, or asked for a service that requires them. Every access is logged.

Do not submit fraudulent, altered or stolen documents, attempt to access data that is not yours, interfere with the platform, or use it to break South African law.

Automated scraping, reverse engineering and resale of the platform are not permitted without our written agreement.

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and authority downtime can interrupt access.

We are liable for loss directly caused by our failure to perform an agreed service with reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for penalties arising from information you supplied incorrectly, or for delays caused by an authority.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

You may close your account at any time. We may end the agreement on notice, or immediately where these terms are breached. Jobs already lodged will be completed or refunded where the authority allows it.
