When you would use the RLF

  • A licence fee was paid twice
  • A vehicle was deregistered shortly after licensing
  • A fee was charged at the wrong classification

What the RLF asks for

  • Identification of the person or organisation (ID number, or business/traffic register number for a company)
  • Vehicle identification (licence number, VIN/chassis, engine number, make and model)
  • Payment reference and amount
  • Banking detail for the refund
  • Signature of the applicant or an authorised proxy or representative
