When you would use the ACR
- A vehicle must be certified roadworthy before a change of ownership
- A vehicle is being re-registered and needs a roadworthy
- A periodic roadworthy test is due for a heavy or public vehicle
What the ACR asks for
- Identification of the person or organisation (ID number, or business/traffic register number for a company)
- Vehicle identification (licence number, VIN/chassis, engine number, make and model)
- Testing station detail
- Signature of the applicant or an authorised proxy or representative
