When you would use the MVR1

  • A newly manufactured, imported or built vehicle enters the system
  • A vehicle must receive its first NaTIS record

What the MVR1 asks for

  • Vehicle identification (licence number, VIN/chassis, engine number, make and model)
  • Manufacturer, importer or builder registration detail
  • Certificate of origin or import documentation
  • Signature of the applicant or an authorised proxy or representative
