When you would use the NVM

  • A vehicle model is not on the NaTIS model list
  • An imported or built-up vehicle must have its model recorded
  • A description change requires the correct model reference

What the NVM asks for

  • Vehicle identification (licence number, VIN/chassis, engine number, make and model)
  • Model, derivative and description detail
  • Supporting manufacturer or import documentation
  • Signature of the applicant or an authorised proxy or representative
