Notification of change of ownership or sale of a motor vehicle
The NCO tells NaTIS that a vehicle has been sold or that ownership has changed, so the seller is released and the buyer becomes the recorded owner.

When you would use the NCO
- You have sold your vehicle and must notify the authority
- You have bought a vehicle and the record must move into your name
- A dealership is taking a vehicle into or out of stock
What the NCO asks for
- Seller and buyer identification
- Vehicle identification (licence number, VIN/chassis, engine number, make and model)
- Date of sale and purchase price where required
- Signature of the applicant or an authorised proxy or representative
