When you would use the CNV
- An engine has been replaced and the engine number changed
- A recorded vehicle detail is incorrect on the registration certificate
- A vehicle description must be updated after modification
What the CNV asks for
- Identification of the person or organisation (ID number, or business/traffic register number for a company)
- Vehicle identification (licence number, VIN/chassis, engine number, make and model)
- The particulars being changed and the correct values
- Supporting evidence such as an affidavit or certificate
- Signature of the applicant or an authorised proxy or representative
